Keep Building
I'm building my YouTube channel this week. Working through YouTube training right now, learning the technical side I've avoided for too long.
This week is infrastructure week for me. Channel setup, banner design, description, the behind-the-scenes work that makes everything else possible. I'm planning my first 10 short topics, all Coffee with Curt format.
Then I start creating the videos. I'm nervous. This is brand new for me. But that's the point. I committed to video content, so I'm building the system to make it happen.
Coming next week: My first Coffee with Curt video launches once the channel infrastructure is complete.
While I build my channel infrastructure, here's the framework to build yours.

The First 30 Days: Turning Your Big Rock Into Daily Action

You cleared the deck. You chose your Big Rock. Now you're staring at a blank calendar wondering what actually happens today.
The gap between declaring a goal and building momentum isn't motivation. It's a system. Research shows 80-90% of people fail to achieve their big goals, not because they picked the wrong ones, but because they never turned intention into daily action.
🔸Week One: Build Your Infrastructure
The first week isn't about results. It's about removing friction points before they derail you.
Create the accounts. Install the software. Set up your workspace. Build the templates you'll reuse weekly.
For example, if your Big Rock is video creation: week one means your platform account created, recording setup tested, editing software installed. Not a single piece of content produced yet, and that's fine.
Infrastructure decisions made once save future decision fatigue. That's leverage.
🔸Weeks Two and Three: Lock In Your Minimum Viable Routine
Your Big Rock doesn't need perfect conditions. It needs protected time.
Pick specific days and times for focused action. Whatever works, but make it specific.
🔸Block the calendar before you fill the calendar. Start with 2-4 hours weekly, not heroic daily marathons.
Consistent 60% effort beats sporadic bursts of perfection. Every single time.
🔸Week Four: The 30-Day Checkpoint
By week four, you know what's working and what's creating friction.
Identify the one thing slowing you down. Fix the process, not your commitment.
🔸Measure progress in systems built, not results achieved. Did you protect the time? Did you show up? That's the win.
Adjust the system, not the goal. This distinction separates sustainable builders from goal dropouts.
Your Big Rock doesn't need next-month motivation. It needs next-month systems. Build those systems this week while momentum is high and resistance is low.
Thirty days from now, you won't be wondering if you'll stick with this. You'll already have proof.

Next Steps
⚡ YOUR PRIMARY MOVE THIS WEEK
→ Open your calendar right now. Block 2-4 hours for your Big Rock before the week fills up. Make it specific: which days, what times. This isn't planning to work on your goal. This is protecting the space where the work happens.
